My Time in Haiti
At 18 years of age I had the privilege to spend some time in the country of Haiti. Our family had some friends who were missionaries in the city of Montrouis which is about 60 miles north of Port-A-Prince. While I was there I tried to keep a journal of what was going on throughout the day and what I was feeling. I didn’t do a very good job but I was able to record my thoughts on a few days. I am now tired of moving the journal around and worrying that it is going to get thrown away, so I am going to post it here. If you do decide to read my ramblings, please keep in mind I was 18, new to the world, thought I knew everything and a very frustrated teenager. The thoughts I put on paper then may not be the same way I fee now and my attitude can be a bit embarrassing. But non the less, here are my thoughts and experiences if you wish to read on. Just follow this link and it will take you to the journal.
P.S. May I say that I did enjoy my time there and truly thought I would live there full time one day.
